February 2012

On Thursday, February 23^rd, there is a Peewee Boys Basketball game at Glenwood.

On Friday, February 24^th, PK-1^st grade will be going to the FFA Petting Zoo at West Plains High School. The AM PK will leave the school at 9:00am. The Afternoon Pk, Kindergarten and 1^st grades will leave the school at 1:50pm.

The makeup game for the Peewee Boys that was previously scheduled for Monday, February 13^th is Friday, February 24^th at Howell Valley.

The makeup game for the Peewee Girls that was previously scheduled for Tuesday, February 14^th is Monday, February 27^th at Glenwood.

On Tuesday, February 28^th the Girls Peewee Basketball Championship will be held at Richards.

March 2012

On Thursday, March 1^st, the Boys Peewee Basketball Championship will be held at Richards.

End of the 3^rd Quarter is March 2^nd.

The 8^th graders will be sacking groceries on March 2^nd and 3^rd.

Koshkonong High School will be here on Monday, March 5^th to meet with the 8^th grade students

Spring Pictures will be Tuesday, March 7^th.

The Science/Tech/Math Fair will be on Thursday, March 8^th.

There will be a Volleyball Game on Friday, March 9^th, Richards at Glenwood.

The Reading Extravaganza will be held March 12^th.

The Book Fair will be the week of March 12-16^th.

There is a Volleyball Tournament on March 13, 15, and 16. Times will follow.

Grade Cards will be issued March 16^th.

Spring Break will be March 19^th through March 23^rd. School will resume March 26^th.

There will be a 6^th Grade Emints Parents meeting on Tuesday, March 27^th at 6:00pm

PK and Kindergarten Screening for next year will be March 28^th and 29^th. The sign-up sheet will be available in the office towards the middle of February. Please call to set up a time.

There will be the Raku Firing for the 6,7, & 8^th grade Art Elective on Wednesday, March 28^th.

The Panther Relays will be Friday, March 30^th.

April 2012

On Tuesday, April 3^rd there will be a West Plains Open Track Meet afterschool. Times will be announced later.

There is a Track meet at Richards on Thursday, April 5^th.

No School Friday, April 6^th for Spring Break.

There is a West Plains Ribbon Track Meet afterschool on Tuesday, April 10^th. Times will be announced later.

MAP Testing will be the following days:

April 10^th -12^th

April 17^th-19^th

April 24-26^th

There is a Tri-Meet at Glenwood on Friday, April 20^th. The schools involved are Glenwood, West Plains, and Junction Hill.

Monday, April 30^th is the 5^th and 6^th grade Conference Track Meet.

Monday, April 30^th is also Fine Arts Night at Glenwood with Art Displays and a Band Concert. The night begins at 6:30pm.

May 2012

Tuesday, May 1^st is the 7^th and 8^th grade Conference Track Meet.

The Academic Ceremony will be Tuesday, May 1^st.

Thursday, May 3^rd is the Sports Banquet.

Friday, May 4^th is the 8^th Grade Class Trip.

Glenwood Graduation will be held Tuesday, May 8^th. Kindergarten Graduation will be at 6:00pm and 8^th Grade Graduation will be at 7:30pm

End of the 4^th Quarter is May 11^th.

The last day of school is May 11^th. School will dismiss at 12:15pm.
