Due to State and Federal Budget cuts and higher operation costs, Missouri schools are having to find alternative funding methods to provide the best education possible for their students. As a result, school districts across the state are establishing school foundation.

Established in 2010 and comprised of four Board Members, their mission is to work to build the school and community by obtaining financial resources from private donors to improve facilities, equipment, and programs that will benefit the children of Glenwood School District.

Foundation Board Members: Juliet Cobb, Cheryl Finley, Dawn Hicks, Justin Frazier, and Tim Cherry.

Foundation Board Meetings are held at 5:30 p.m. on the same date as the District School Board Meeting.

The Glenwood School Foundation has chosen its first project. The Art Department is in need of a "pug mill" to de-air and recycle clay. Our art teachers aid our students in creating award-winning projects and we want to do everything we can to support this outstanding department.
